Today please pray for Daniel and Kimberly Goombi of Kansas. Daniel was raised as a missionary kid on a Nebraska Native American Reservation. As he grew, God put it upon his heart to continue with Native American ministry. Kimberly also served on the same reservations as Daniel and now they serve together as North American Missionaries in Kansas. The uphill battle that the Goombis face in minstry is that native americans often believe that Jesus Christ is the "white mans" God. Native Americans often believe that they have to forget their heritage and face exile from their own nations if they choose to accept Jesus.
Specific prayer needs from the Goombi family: Please pray for more churches to become aware of the need to reach sovereign nations of indigenous people within their own state. Pray for Native Americans t be receptive to the gospel of the Lord as the God of all people.

A friend of mine Bobby Gimlin has asked for prayer. He is trying to beat a very addictive tobacco habit.
